DIY Fast-Absorbing Whipped Body Butter Recipe (Non-Greasy & Deeply Moisturizing)

Whipped non-greasy body butter in a glass jar with a light fluffy texture made from shea butter, cacao butter, jojoba oil, and apricot oil
Instructions

    Using a double boiler (or glass bowl over simmering water):
    Melt - shea butter, cacao butter, coconut oil, beeswax.
    Do NOT overheat. Just melt until combined.

    Add Liquid Oils:
    Remove from heat and stir in - castor oil, jojoba oil, apricot seed oil.

    Cool Until Soft-Solid:
    Put the bowl in the fridge/freezer for about 20–40 minutes.
    You want it to look like soft frosting around the edges — not fully hard.
    This step matters a LOT for fluffiness.

    Whip using a hand mixer or stand mixer:
    Whip 3–5 minutes
    Scrape bowl
    Whip again
    Add:
    Arrowroot powder
    Fragrance/essential oils if using
    Whip until fluffy.
Notes:

Texture Adjustments

Too Hard? Add more: apricot oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil

Too Soft? Add more: cacao butter, tiny bit more beeswax

Too Greasy? Increase arrowroot slightly
